On Friday March 15th momma Lemon had 3 beautiful babies. The delivery went well and everyone is happy and healthy. The kittens are now 4 days old and their eyes will be opening over the next few days. We believe there are two boys and one girl, and pending a more accurate gender assessment when they are a bit older we have named them Jack, Jenna, and Kenneth. Mom and little ones will be available for adoption through the Trail Regional BC SPCA once they are old enough.

While having this experience is so far pretty amazing, I can’t stress to people to please have your pets spayed and neutered. If Lemon had been spayed and properly cared for we would not be in this position, and the adoptive homes these babies will go into could be taken up by another needy cat. Please be a responsible pet owner! Spay, neuter, and make adoption your first option.
