We’ve got some pretty fun classes to offer you through the winter. Keep your dog busy, work some important skills, and build a solid relationship.

The new Fun and Games Drop In class is chock full of awesome tricks and obedience games. Your dog can even work up to earning Trick Dog Titles from Do More With Your Dog! This class runs Saturdays at 12:15, the cost is $50 for 3 sessions or $90 for 6. Fun and Games is available to graduates of Polite Pooch I or with instructor permission.

For the first time ever offering a Rally Obedience class! Rally Obedience is a great way to bond with your dog and fine tune their obedience skills. It consists of heeling and obedience exercises throughout a course. The exercises are things like sit your dog and walk around them; sit, down and stand; weave through cones and many more. This is a fun class if you want to enhance your obedience and leash walking skills and challenge yourself. Rally Obedience will run Saturdays at 5:30pm and the cost is $90 for 6 weeks of classes.

We are also adding a Reactive Rover class designed for dogs that over-react to other dogs on leash or are hyperactive. This class is designed to teach dogs to relax in the presence of another dog and a few private lessons will be required before entering this class. Participation is limited to two students at a time, so the cost is a bit higher at $150 for 5 sessions. If you have a dog who acts like Cujo when on leash, talk to us about reactive dog training. We can help!

We will continue to offer Surviving Puppyhood for pups from 8 to 16 weeks of age. This is paws down the best class you can ever do for your dog, as it gives them essential skills to deal with the human world and helps you survive the puppy months! This class covers exposing the pups to things they will need to be used to in daily life, some basic training, family relationships, and problem solving for common issues like nipping and house training. This class is very affordable at $50 for 6 sessions or $10 per session. It runs on a drop in, no need to sign up but there are some requirements to bring with you on your first class which you can see here. You can get this class for 50% if you sign your puppy up for Polite Pooch I and totally free if you sign up for Polite Pooch I and II. The class runs Tuesdays at 6:15 pm and Saturdays at 3 pm for 30-45 minutes.

Polite Pooch I and II are still going strong. Sign up for Polite Pooch if your dog is over 16 weeks old and you want to teach them some focus, self control and basic obedience skills. Move on to Polite Pooch II to practice these foundation skills at a higher level, including working outdoors whenever possible. Polite Pooch I costs $135 for 6 sessions and is available Wednesdays at 6:15pm and Saturdays at 1:45pm. Polite Pooch II costs $100 for 5 sessions and runs Saturdays at 4:15pm. Sign up for both for only $199!

For more information please go to the Group Lessons page. Outward Hound, Total Recall, and Leash Pullers Anonymous will be offered again starting in the spring. Remember if you sign up before December 15th you save 14% off your training pass!
