Since the weather has been so great and I’ve now had a few requests, I’m going to start offering Outward Hound in April. This class will start as early as this Saturday and if the weather co-operates we can fit in 4 classes for April. The class will be unavailable for much of May, but will start up again at the end of that month.

We will meet at a different spot each week, downtown, a park, or a walking trail and practice obedience, recall, and urban agility! This class is open to graduates of our Polite Pooch Stepping Out class, or instructor cleared graduates of Polite Pooch I, Surviving Puppyhood or classes from another trainer.

This class is great for practicing obedience skills in real life distractions, improving off-leash recall, socialization, and having fun and bonding with your dog.

I will be accepting puppies needing socialization to join in on these classes which include a group walk provided they have proper vaccinations. Talk to me about if this would be right for your puppy. The best way for pups to socialize is with tolerant adult dogs instead of other puppies since they learn manners.

University – Outward Hound (Advanced Practice)

This class is a fun next step for dogs who have completed a basic manners class. We take your dog out of the classroom and into real world settings – parks, an off leash trail, or even downtown to practice sits and downs while enjoying a cup of coffee. Held when weather permits.

Cost is $120 for 4 sessions.

Book now for April sessions! Saturdays at 11:00 am – info@bnrbc.ca to register.

A long training lead may be required depending on your dog’s level of training for off-leash sessions.
